Research indicates the use of interactive whiteboard technology in the classroom enhances student engagement, improves discipline, appeals to a variety of students and learning styles, allows for easy integration of media, and improves teacher productivity. However, the use of interactive whiteboards in music classrooms is much less common and research specifically on the use of interactive whiteboards in the instrumental music classroom is limited.”
